vacuum formed masks improve painting efficiency
antistatic work trays, storage trays, pcb racks, help, storage, work, trays, antistatic, toolcraft plastics Customised masks, vacuum formed by Toolcraft Plastics of Swindon, have replaced tapped entry ports of pumps in the paint shop area at a local manufacturer to prevent ingress of excess paint.

The masks just 'snap' into place making a better quality paint job and being reusable are very economical. "Despite relatively low volume production, using in-house design & manufacture allows us to customise each job economically" quotes John Hemsworth, MD at Toolcraft.

Whilst there are different pump sizes some have standard ports allowing some masks to be used on more than one pump. Some masks are also made in two parts for economy of production & easy use on multiple jobs.

antistatic work trays tidy up kitting process
Toolcraft Plastics has introduced a family of work trays which, by combining a central work space with adjacent component storage, facilitate production efficiency and tidy work areas.

Available with/out transparent lids, the work trays allow jobs with pre-allocated components to be stacked ready for assembly. The company produces a standard range of vacuum formed storage trays in various materials, including antistatic, and has recently launched a pcb rack

Toolcraft Plastics vacuum forming techniques have given benefits of economy and clean edges to a new rack for stacking PCBS. The pcb racks add to the company's range of production trays for use in work stations and storage of small components.

John Hemsworth, MD at Toolcraft, said: "Working with many industries provides ideas for improving current designs or creating new ones. We then produce standards for volume production, but never forget that many clients need special design and production techniques."

Designed to take 10 ten PCBs at 15° with space to clear mounted components, pcb racks cater for various sizes. Economic production cuts cost, but with design & direct tool manufacture from cad files in house, high quality, cost effective specials can be made. Trays are available in various materials, but antistatic is most common for PCBs/electronic parts.
